  • can anyone help me with signlab & auto selecting please?

I’m not sure how to explain this…

Today I had an image that I needed 90 copies of. After arraying I wanted to go and alter each individually to have them sequentially numbered, after editing one number and clicking away to deselect signlab automatically selects all 90 again, is there a way to stop it doing this?

It really bugs me as there are very few occasions when I actually want the stuff selected that it decides to do, I know it’s nit picking but it was a complex image and took 3-4 seconds to select them all each time when I didn’t want it to.

    Cheers for any help.

Hmmm, so can I on the test I’ve just done. Couldn’t on the job this morning? Do you know what I mean though?

well I have fond SL to have a mind of its own at times and you have to shut it down/start again 😕

I know exactly what you mean. SL reselects the whole group and I don’t think there is a way to stop it. It’s very annoying!
The best help I can offer is use Alt+F3 to deselect every thing which does at least save the need to click off the area.
Could you have used the ‘badges’ function to do your sequential numbering, that might have saved some mucking about?
Perhaps Rod or Frank at Cadlink might read the thread and give an answer.
