can anyone help me link rockhopper to a network please?

Hi all,

I’ve just got hold of a rockhopper 2 and I’m trying to set it up for networking printing.
For some reason I can’t print to the IP address I’ve been given by the previous owner.

I’ve tried pinging the IP address from the laptop, but I don’t get a response.

Anyone have any helpful hints/tips on how to get the printer setup via network?

The connection light goes on when plugging the printer into my router.

check the ip address on your rockhopper, down button 3 time f3 then f1.

Hi Ian

Thanks for your help. I have looked at the ip address number and used the same ip in the printer set up, But had no luck.
I have also changed the ip address to match the ip range on the router
And still no luck

Any more ideas

Do you have any firewalls PC or router?

I have just managed to get them to talk to each other over the network
