  • can anyone give me a profile to use less ink please?

I am using Grenadier 1 printer and Troop 6.3 RIP and am trying to print direct on to PVC sheet with Activasol solvent ink.

The ink is pooling and i am wondering what to change in the profile to tell it to use less ink ?

The heaters make it run but without heat it takes a long time to dry.

    Regards

    Russell.

Don’t know about troop, but on rasterlink pro you can reduce the ink amounts in the settings, I needed to reduce down to 30% for something in the past.

dont know troop but look for total ink load probably around 280% trouble is as you reduce it the colours go down with it.

how about laminating the sheet with print vinyl first or after printing

Russell be careful I too tried to print direct to a thin PVC sheet, as the print head passed to and fro it created so much static the the PVC lifted and caused a head crash!!! new print head required (hot) (hot)
