    Phil….obviously depending on what they are to be used for… but we have made our own out of vinyl….

    Cut two images the right way round…. weed & stick one on top of the other…

    Cut a third in reverse & stick that to the other two….(just so you have no glue to get in the way.)

    The idea of three layers was just to give it a bit of rigidity……they have always worked well for us

    You could always try ringing Edward Mathias if you have a spare couple of hours. I know the guy told me about a substrate that people used to make stencils and they may also know which of their customers do this.

    A bit late I suppose but if you have an Art Supplies shop nearby you should be able to get some of the yellow coloured waxed card. I’ve cut some stencils from that, although I only scored the design with the plotter and then finished by hand with a scalpel.
    I’m sure that there must be a web based supplier.
