I have a new master xy 300p machine, it came with flexi-starter software. I have Corel 9 and have Corel 12 upgrade coming in the mail. I also use autocad for my business. I wanted to know what would be a good entry level software that could go with Corel. Also does anyone know where I can get any drivers for this machine or are there any cross over drivers available …??????? Please help iam itching to get this thing cutting …Jim

never heard of a master xy 300p – sorry 😳

Corel 12 does an add on for cutting signs tho. I know a few here in OZ that are happy with it.

    Cheers

If you are using Corel you have 2 good choices. The first is CoCut from Eurosytems (sorry no link) but they have a demo you can try out and the full package is £199 I think. Not sure about your plotter, any more info? or Manufacturer.
I tried it but went with Sign Tools 3 http://www.asigns.com/SignTools.htm
I think it is brilliant. They have a demo version to try, try it! You can use Corel just as you do now and then use Sign Tools to cut. It also has basic sign stuff, drop shadows etc weeding lines etc paneling all the basics. It cost about £165 shipped from Australia (but you dont need to wait ‘cos you can register demo version). Covers loads of plotters and generic driver so that may get yours to work.
    Good luck

Thanks Fozzie. The Asigns one is the one I was referring to too, but could not find a link.
