    Hi

Customer has expressed interest in having a sign above the guttering on a tiled sloping roof.

The size is approx 600 mm high by 16 foot long

I’m thinking a metal frame made with angle attached to the tiles somehow.

Can anyone advise on how to attach the frame to tiles?

I wouldn’t attach it to the tiles James the sign will pull them off straight away’ I would think that you would have to remove some tiles and fix it to the timber trusses. You would also need to put some sort of flashing around the posts/stays to prevent it leaking in. Personally I wouldn’t take it on. Or you make the sign and get a someone else to fit it.

    Tks Steve

Probably right about leaving it just hate saying ‘cant’.

Mike, so the guttering would be hidden behind the metal?

yes thats right James works a treat usually with a 2×2 frame and folded dibond tray . from the front appears to be floating , but you must get some meaty screws into the roof trusses .
