Can anybody recommend me some high quality fleeces
Hi there
My mate who is a tree surgeon and a regular customer has asked me to supply his work wear.He wants some top quality fleeces, he’s never worried about cost, he just likes top quality that will last.
I don’t really wear fleeces, so i don’t know too much about them! Firstly does embroidery work well on fleeces? I’m going to be looking to get someone to do these for me.
And secondly does anyone know of a real high quality workwear style fleece top, the suppliers i get t-shirts from just seem to have fruit of the loom etc, which are ok but not really what i’m after.
Any advice you could offer would be great thanks

Yes fleeces are ideal for embroidery. Check out http://www.btcactivewear.co.uk/ for workwear and stuff they do it all. Perhaps worth asking different embroiderers what makes they supply?
We have lined fleeces from Snap On and they are great if you’re outdoors working. Dunno how they embroider them with the lining though.

Hi Liam,
I use Fleece from Result and Regatta . Just be careful they are not too thick as it makes it difficult or impossible to do fine detail in Embroidery.

Thanks for advice both of you, i now realise i had better talk to the embroiders first about the possibilities before just going ahead and buying expensive fleeces which im not even sure you can embroid on!
