    hi guys

in x3 can you get text to follow a path – but can you do the same with an object somehow?

i have to create a ring of stars similar to the paramount logo,
and it would be so much easier if i could define a path and then fit object to path
    is it possible?
i have drawn it and it looks ok – but i would rather know it is uniform both in spacings and relative to each other.

    thanks

if you double click a object then the handels change and a dot appiers in the centre.
move the dot to the centre of the arc . now as you move the rotate arrows on the corners of the object. it moves about the new centre.
in the transform menu you can duplicate set no of deg apart.

Goto http://www.oberonplace.com there is a macro that does this. It is not free (costs $12.50) but you do have a 7 day evaluation period.
