Hi Chris, no I thought that but I checked and its not. Was thinking a software or hardware issue.. I’ve done the following]

    clean encoder
    checked files and setup
check and reset ip setting and config
    checked cables
checked update on 6.7 the latest

Only thing I can think of is the fact I’m running an i7 64bit system with vista. there seems to be a lot of floors with vista 64bit and with the latest i7 processors with certain software?? Will keep looking tho thanks for your input.. 🙂

Used to get this from time to time when I did one of two things (when I first got my Cadet).

Came from me messing about with the control panel after sending the job to print (eg. adjusting the temperatures) and also not having the correct ‘live’ profile for the job being sent. Can be something as simple as the the media width being wrong.

Always ensure you follow a basic procedure when first running:

    Machine on.
    Machine reads media.
    THEN START WASATCH.
    SETUP.
    then RIP, PRINT…

Also make sure your Cadet firmware is up to date….takes a couple of minutes to do.

The ONLY button you can press after you send to the printer is PAUSE when the ‘HEATING’ notice comes on to just proceed.

Make NO adjustments to the printer in any way once you press ‘OK’ in Wasatch -don’t even open up the TEMP menus to take a look.

Once it’s printing it is possible to make a few changes – but personally I wouldn’t.

I lost a LOT of prints in the way you described when I first got my Cadet by adjusting the TEMP after sending it – and before printing started.
