  • Cabin Fever – Wisdom from the boards please?

We have been tasked with branding the cabin in the attached picture for a housing developer, we are not the design lead on this, just the sign production and installation.

The designers want to do full colour printed graphics to fill the panels either side of the roller shutter doors. The cabin is made from steel and is rented, so I cannot see how we could really drill into this to mount either boards direct or any batons etc.

The roller shutter casing will have a tray over installed to hide that to some degree.

So anyone have any ideas on how we could achieve what is required?

Can you not just apply vinyl direct to the cabin or tape panels to it?

What about this stuff. Sticks great but removable if needed.

Hi, try this now. The materials called "Roughmark" we’ve used quite a bit of it now.

I can recommend the Rough Mark as well very easy to use apply straight from printer. I would say the lesser Sublink vinyl would do that container it is flat.

I used a fair bit of wall wrap some years ago.
I tried two brands Arlon and I forget the other. I would say of the two, the Arlon conformed better and really did stick!
However, the thing I wasn’t keen on of with both of the brands was there was a sort of "satin sheen" from the vinyl which was noticeable more if part was printed and part plain white. by that I mean, if a rectangle was all print, but had a white bold text in the middle. the text would appear more glossy to the area printed.
Personally, ide think a very matt finish wall/masonry wrap material would be much more convincing. As I said, this was a few years back now, so it may well be available nowadays.

Looking at the pictures of the Rough Mark. That looks like it may have a sort of satin sheen also?
