    Hi all, I have been asked to fit some signage with Bulgarian text. I have googled Blugarian fonts but the fonts look just like our british fonts without all the strange bits. Im going to struggle to copy the text as it is so dont want anything too fancy. Ive got a meeting with the guy towards the end of the week so he can spell check it but at the moment i cant find any suitable fonts. Help as always greatly apreciated jean

    I would ask the customer supply the text, either by e-mail or in a word document or similar.

    Highlight the text, copy it, create a text box with your choosen font. and then paste the text.

    Provided the font you’ve chosen has the characters included you should be able to work away with it.

    I’ve done the same with chinese characters.

    Strange?

    Try another font, perhaps arial or another ‘standard’ font that come pre-installed on most machines they should have a full character set.

    I just did a quick search on t’interweb for ‘Bulgarian fonts’ and found this;

    Bulgarian cyrillic fonts

    Are of them usable for you?

    EDIT:

    If you’re meeting up with the guy this week, you could possibly try and get a copy of whatever font it is he uses off his PC

    Hi everyone and thanks for all your help and advice. I managed to copy as a PDF from his email and just dropped that onto Flexi. Ive no idea what font its in but the weight is good in comparison to the english text so im just going to leave it as it is. Cant believe in all the years ive been doing this job ive never had to use a different counties font/text.
