• broken wrist

    well folder able ladder collapsed sent me crashing to the floor and as much as it doest feel lucky only injury was a badly broken wrist not another mark on my entire body 6 days in hospital & 1 operation with plates and pins and got home today to start sorting out the oustanding workload. as you can probably tell by the typing its my hand that i use for everything. so please take this a a warning check ladders cafefully.

    Nasty Kev! Can happen so easy.
    How did it collapse? Did a clip give way or was it just not locked correctly?

    I hope you will be feeling better soon.
    I have one collapsible stand which seems to have a vendetta.
    We need to start a UKSB Hospital Ward.

    Got one of those ladders too. Complete pain in the rear. Hope the wrist heals well and doesn’t impact business to much.

    Cheers for all of the support guys, hand at the moment is pretty useless apart from use as a door stop weighs a ton. Had to wait for specialist surgeon so been off work already longer than i would like but good friends & sign makers who i supply print too have stepped up to the mark. Haven’t investigated the ladder yet going in too the workshop tomorrow

    same thing happened to me last year, broke my ARSE. believe me i know where the expression , "a pain in the arse " comes from 😀

    £500 of phsio on my back after it learn’t me a valuable lesson. BUY A GOOD LADDER

    You’ll get no better, every site i go to, at least one tradesman the sees these ladders buys one.

    I was in a cast for 3 months with a broken wrist many years back. I learned to letter left handed for most of the bigger lettering. The small stuff I screen printed.
    I’ve owned 2 "Little Ladders" for about 15 years now. There’s nothing like them. Don’t accept cheap imitations.
