    Morning all

We are about to ‘be out of contract’ with BT for our broadband & phone lines, so hunting around for a far better deal, service & customer care than BT. Any advice welcome…

We avg pay around £80pcm, give or take…we have a voip/cloud phone system through BT so customers can access us through our old number, however I don’t feel this is required any longer & simply stick with our current number, which most seem to be using now…

    Thank you

Broadband via either Plusnet, or TalkTalk for us, then use VoipFone for our VOIP phones.

do they not simply take on your cloud / voip No’s, or is that still with BT?

We have a dedicated No given to us by BT when we went onto cloud, need this No. as it’s what we use now. a number of people still use the old number which has been on divert for almost 2yrs now – though they wouldn’t know, maybe we’d have to use some kind of "please redial using…" temp message instead of the divert, to get people weaned off it over a number of months, would need to look into that..

You can ‘port’ your number to VOIPfone from BT.

We have 3 numbers on VOIP, 4 extensions in the unit, (1 on each desk, 1 in production, 1 installation) and can transfer calls between them all. Took my desk phone home on Friday and worked from home, transferring calls from home to my dad at work 😆

We’re not even using fibre broadband and it works well. You can set it up so if the internet does go down it automatically diverts to the mobile, or alternative number.

Give them a call, they’re really helpful.

Clear business and we are £45 a month for the two. Transferred our number when moving unit.
Internet could be faster some days being honest, but I think that’s more due to our location, 3 computers running off it and 4 phones.

Ive tried a them all, we now use http://www.123telecom.co.uk Gareth, they took my ported numbers, BT Numbers, 3 different company numbers (different Areas) and set them all to ring in my office, and at my home if not in the office, there very good and very competitive.
