Break-in
Got to work this morning and found we have been broken into 🙁
All filing cabinets open and contents strewed accross the floor along with the paperwork that was due for invoicing 🙁
Doesn’t look like anything has been taken but it is going to take hours to sort out the mess. 😥

dave, very sorry to hear this. In some ways I am pleased that people are posting these events recently as it gives us all a reminder to double check our security.

Strange how they haven’t taken anything but managed to get through all those files etc, maybe looking for the cash box.My last place had the same break-in, whoever it was just went straight for the cash box nothing else missing.
Good to hear about the laser being sold though.

sorry to hear about the break in kknow the feeling happend 2 weeks ago here ….still waiting for the insurance man to pay …they are quick enough to take your money bla bla bla :banghead:

Just to let you all know where I’m up to.. SOCO has been and found out they were wearing wooly gloves. Got some good impressions of trainer marks on the paperwork so if someone is picked up for another job, they may be able to tie it in with this one. Papewrwork is almost sorted and we have found nothing missing. Police say that if I install the detterent I want, I could be prosecuted ( 12 bore on a trip wire and 240v on window mesh 😮 ). Just can’t do anything to protect property these days.

Oh no Dave what a pain!! Fluffing gruby twits!! So annoying for you.
Had a break in three times in a row at the last place I ran …. they even stole the biscuits, sugar, teabags, coffee, washing up liquid …… 😮 along with loads of other stuff … stationery whatever they could grab that wasnt too heavy …….. they got caught on the third break in though …. drug addicts who wanted anything they could sell on or use themselves so the police told us. 👿 Trouble is you can be very saftey conscious, but as the police always told us, no matter what you do … if they want to get in they will go to any means to get in eventually.

Dave, as i said earlier sorry about the break in, will be in touch next week about picking up the laser. Hope you get the office back up and running with out to much fuss
