  • ‘Brag Mat’ material?

    Hi Guys,

Have had an enquiry about printing ‘Brag Mats’ for a fishing club.

What sort of material are these usually printed on … and I assume laminating is going to be necessary because of the treatment these things get.

For anyone who (like me) hadn’t heard of them before, they are a bit of material with a ruler or scale printed on it, about 200mm by 750mm … that lives in your fishing box.

When someone makes a decent catch, they lay the fish on the mat and take a photo so they have evidence of the size … hence the name … brag mat !

    Regards, Roger

I can see a lucrative business line in selling "Brag Mats" with rulers printed on that are about 75% of actual size 😉

    Hi Phill,
You could have the proper rule on one side and the smaller on the reverse!

Reminds me of the one armed fisherman describing how big the fish was.
