  • Bonding stainless steel lettering, which type of fixing?

Hi all we normally mount on locators but we have some small stainless steel letters we want to bond to nice new engineering blue bricks, can anyone recommend a grab adhesive that they have used that will allow us to fix these direct to the brick and not slip and fail, thanks Rich

Probably a bit late on this one Rich but…

If you haven’t already got the letters, you should ask for them to have threaded rods on the rear of them.

    1. you just drill the wall using a template the same way.
    2. inject some liquid fixing into the holes.
    3. align the threaded roads on the rear of the letters with the holes and gently press the letter into place.
4, have a little spacer handy to create a gap between the letter and the wall.
    5, leave to set.

you mention small letters, but if large, I have in the past used bighead fixings on brick walls to get a better-hidden fix.
