    hi all need some bonding sealant for some foam board to metal fixing
    have been using product called stixall but run out and need something today anybody recommend anything from b&q etc so i can grab some on my way

    Derek,
    There’s a company called Commercial Body Fixings(CBF) in bristol and manchester, they sell a range of bonding tubes for a standard “mastik” gun. From experience as a coachbuilder for 12yrs it’s awesome, the grip is good but not instant. Its the stuff used for bonding caravans together, aluminium bodies, grp panels etc. Only trouble you have to buy it in boxes containing 12. Very good tho if you can leave to cure overnight. Hope this helps.

    P.s. sorry, didnt notice you needed today. Just make sure its a tube made from polyeurethane not silicon. Personally i dont rate silicon very well.

    thanks guys i got some no nails from wicks on the way and in the industrial estate i was working rang a mate of mine and he said try

    stuff i had been using result this stixall is supposed to be the ultimate
    and now i can get it local the company bayplastics are worth a look around the website they looked really busy and were help full wanting to know what i was doing with it to make sure i had the right stuff
