    Thought i would post this for a bit of fun that might carry on into our drinking Friday night on the boards… depending how good we are at it, that is! :lol1:

    Ive attached a picture of a "blast from the past star" but showing a pretty recent picture. so there is the task… find an old TV favorite’s up to date picture.

    I was playing the Torchy theme tune to my daughter just the other week, (she thought I was mad) used to love Twizzle aswell.

    Someone on here posted a great link some time back about all the old programes, they were all on there Olly the Owl and all.
    It might be where Peter got the theme tunes from.

    Those were the days 😀

    mid 60’s!!!!!!! Definitely before my time 😀 Don’t recognise that one you’ve posted either Martin ……… can see why it used to spook you! :lol1:

    My earliest tv memories are Mary Mungo and Midge…. and Calimero … mid 70’s 😀

    this is my earliest recollection of school when i was younger… must have been about 5-6 years old, but always "sticks in my mind"

    the program was called PEEP-PEEP "The Boy from Space" he wrote in reverse….

    I can’t remember the kid’s stuff from the seventies either, mainly because I was at work when they were shown.

    Oh my, i thought I was the only one on the planet that has seen Torchie, every time I’ve mentioned him I get blank mad stares 😮
    Twizzle was another one, my ex neighbour was called Twizzle coz she was tall and lanky 😕

    And that Singing ringing tree!!!!! Aaaaaaarrrgh! That dwarf was the only thing that did give me real nightmares. The Daleks never troubled me but that ruddy dwarf…………………….ewww, giving me the heebegeebies just thinking of it now.

    I do a great impression of spotty dog too! ply me with enough ale at sign UK and I might give you a renditioning. 🙄
