Hiya
In a “former life” I was a EH&S adviser, in a number of countries and have used signs to identify such hazards a few years back.
I thought I had the symbol I used to use, which from memory was a stylised hand with a “nick” out of it. I have looked through my files and I seem to have “mislaid” that. I don’t have a UK specific nip point sign or an Eu one, but I do have the US symbol which is a bit different.
I think you will find that in the UK the “catch-all” symbol would most likely be appropriate, such as either:
a) the general prohibition symbol, i.e. the red circle with the diagonal red line, combined with the appropriate reversed text, i.e. “No Entry – Nip Point” or “No Entry – Drawing-In Point” in white on a red box
or
b) the hazard symbol, i.e. the exclamation mark in black in a black edged triangle on a yellow background, with appropriate reversed wording, i.e. “Danger – Nip Point” or “Danger – Drawing-In Point” in black in a yellow box.
Your client’s safety adviser should have completed a risk assessment which should have identified all aspects including the appropriate signs and any physical safety modifications.
If you want the US symbols let me know.
Kind regards
Alan

Apparently i’ve got the brief wrong!!!!
It is actually referred to as a “Crush Zone” warning decal
It is fitted between the pivot point on a road roller!!!
The actual image looks like a stick man on his side between 2 shapes(the things you get trapped between i suppose)
Thanks for your replies Alan and Rob, and chance of a look for the above??? 😳 😳Regards
