Had to fit this last week to £16,000 worth of Suzuki Hayabusa.
(Its had a lot spent on it)

The guy scratched his fairing on something and scuffed the logo, he bought another official Suzuki one………. He paid £67!!

Not only would the old sticker not come off, not with heat gun, vinyl remover, Jack hammer, pickaxe…
he then wanted me to cut the sticker up and only replace the damaged part.
A little nerve wracking on a decal this expensive, as it was to be cut on an upwards curve as well so had one Chance to cut it right and one chance to stick it on right.
It was also very windy outside so he rode it into the shop.
Had i had to stick the whole decal over the old one and given the shape of it I think I would have had no chance of aligning it as it had to come right off the backing which wasn’t see through, one mistake and it would be stuck for good.
Anyway it all went ok, and customer was happy.
Just a word of warning though if anyone has to remove any of these, they DO come off, but only in very very small pieces.
    😕

at least that looks a bit different from the norm mate… e.g. printed foil.

i remember about 12 years ago we did the word Alpina BMW in regular white vinyl. 1 inch high… it was damaged on a guys car and he wanted one side repaired. it had to be digitised from a rubbing from the good side of his car. we took £25 for digitising it and £10 for the text twice at one inch high. customer was over the moon with it… he later told us it was costing him £60 from BMW.

All i can say is, if they can get it… take it! :lol1:

I just charged him £10 to stick it on.
In fact I wasn’t going to charge him at all as he is a good Clothing customer but he gave it me anyway.
