Best portable scissor lift for vehicles?
Posted by Dan Smith on July 10, 2016 at 5:22 pmHowdy!
Looking to see if anyone has had any experience with portable scissor lifts? Need something that can fit in an astra van :thumbup2:

Hi
presume you mean portable tower, i have always used a Razor Deck folds down low enough to go in most small vans, handy to transport tools etc into the job and 2 mtr platform height is tall enough for most shop fronts etchttps://www.sitebox.ltd.uk/ugo-razadeck … ORAZORDECK

Me too Kev! Lol
Theres lots of car hoists available. However, some look very flimsy to me and no way could i concentrate working below one.

How would that be viewed from a health & safety point of view, which is always something you need to consider & is there any requirement to have it tested every 6 months or so which can be expensive.

Although the stands I have found do not look very robust trust me they are. Used in motorsport a lot for quick jacking and have been put through rigorous testing.
In terms of health and safety, these stands have various safety features and testing is something I will have to look into?
