I use the cheapest matt vinyl I can find. Oracal 3164 is my current choice but only down to price.
Cheers

try all print supplies, they do a thicker vinyl for labels, anti scuff too

Thanks Chris got some of their label material and its just what I was looking for. Much stickier than normal digital vinyl.

Just resurrecting this post.
I have today been asked to price for charity stickers, the type that you get when you put coppers in a charity box. What would you use for these-adhesive paper? Or vinyl that you have lying around?
Also, do you add a mark-up on when cutting labels, as they are effectively taking up more production time, or just keep to your £/sq.m?Thanks

yep
just charge what you can for cutting it don’t take long.
but i do charge extra if they want then individual cut backing paper as that does take time, else they get then on a4 ish sheetschris

Thanks Chris, I’ll give that a go -mind you, I haven’t had great success with the print & cut controls on the Versacamm so far, I seem to get in a muddle somewhere along the line- and what with the laminator problems all I seem to have done is print/laminate/throw in the bin/print etc etc for the last 2 days!
Ah well, Monday is a new week! Roll on the weekend….
If I order sticky paper, what do I ask for please?
