best glues for bonding acrylic to composite
Hi
i just wanted to get peoples views on the best glues for bonding acrylic to composite ie. for signtrays, so glues have a rapid heat curing time that warps the composite face and some dont hold as well as others so i just wanted to ask what you prefer to use

I use to use penloc from Eurobond Adhesives, Tensol 12 & 70 have also both been mentioned in the past.
I say use to because I don’t do much work anymore & haven’t used it for quite some time.

Speak to Russell at Chemsure. We use several of his products and they are really good. He will advise you for the best product

3M scotch weld 8805, seemingly developed for composite bonding, no heat generated when mixing to warp the core of the composite, you will need a mixing gun as well.

Cheers guys, its sometimes a dead end when asking at suppliers as they dont work with the products to fully know, they just go by the book on it
