I want to mirror a part of my ceiling but don’t want to risk a heavy mirror falling and killing me during the night :lol1: So I planned on getting a thin sheet of plexy and covering it with vinyl film that is reflective. I want to get the best mirror like finish I can. Any ideas? I want this to be as light as can be so I can mount it with heavy duty two way tape…

get a proper mirror, nothing has the same effect, you need to be asking how to fix it, not how to replicate it.

Why not just install a video camera 😛

We have used plastic with a mirror coating on it. I would ask your plastics supplier if they have anything like this. Looks just like a real mirror as long as it is flat. Light weight and shatterproof.

I want both 😎 A camera only gives you one angle. I have an array of mirrors around the room. The ceiling one will just top it all off!

I will try that… Did you mount it using screws or some sort of fastener? I want that flush look.

I was reading up and found out most places who use mirrors on the ceiling use a thing called mylar film.

    Anyone ever deal with it?

Di-bond derivative is now available in a mirror finish. It’s unbreakable!
But if it comes down off the ceiling, you will touch bottom :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

Ive thought of that, I want something thats easy to take down if company comes over or something this is why I was thinking of mirror vinyl on one of those plastic lawn signs. That I could just two way tape up there…
