  Banner Stitching Sewing Machines or Welder????

  I’m wondering about getting a machine to stistch/weld the hems on banners.
  At the minute i’m using the banner hem tape which has been fine in the past but i now have a client who needs something stronger.
  I have seen a welding machine at the sign show but l think the cost (over £1000) is a bit steep for how many banners i’ll be doing.
  Are they worth the money is my 1st question?
  Does anyone out there stitch their hems?
  If so what kind of machine do you use for doing this and what type of cotton (is it cotton?) do you use to stitch with?

  All help would be appreciated guys. 😀
