hi all, i have a job to price for a big company, it is mesh banners running around walkways they are all cable tie fitting and roughly standing height, sizes 3m X 2m

full length 289mtrs, i charge a daily rate of £200 + VAT per man and would have 2 men on it but what im not good at is guessing the timescale on this, would 4 days be about right or too much?

    thanks
    John

Hi Hugh, as usual its a big printing firm working on the last minute 🙁 but the fencing is either the old diamond shaped stuff or railings so it should be ok that way, with the lengh broke down into 4 8hour days its allowing 20mins a banner.. some could be quicker some could have more to work round but 20mins to fit isnt that bad an average is it?

Obviously it depends on home many eyelets each banner has but I would say 20 minutes per banner is plenty of time. Sorting the banners into order would probably be the more time consuming.

It is always difficult on jobs like this!

    Cheers

Cheers For the reply Gary, luckily they are a repeating pattern on the banners so no real sorting out to do 🙂
