Posted by Allister wells on December 14, 2021 at 8:59 amWe are currently looking for a new banner eyelet machine and I wanted to know if these are any good.

Great machines. we have three banner eyelet machines and this is by far the easiest to use. The price is good too!
I bought one after several others on UKSB posted saying how good they were.

Please keep us posted on how you get on with the eyelet machine Allister. it is always good to get as much feedback as possible on products as it really helps others when looking to make a similar purchase. 👍

We’ve one of those eyelet machines, and also a Hiker one.
Those ones are great for speed & convenience, but the hiker is more heavy-duty and puts in a heaver grommet.

Hi All
We sometimes get asked for eyelets in correx boards – does anyone think this machine will work on 5mm Correx?
Cheers

Hi Allister
That’s very good of you, much appreciated – looks like it works well.
We already have 2 of the version that uses a 2-piece eyelet but we have a potential large job so wanted to try and speed things up!Cheers

Does anyone know if they would work with the clear plastic grommets?
-
I have never used plastic eyelets, but from what I remember the plastic ones I saw were a two-part system, this is a one-part eyelet system. So it pierces, and curls back in on itself holding firm.
-
Ah!! yes you are correct there Rob. I hadn’t realised it was a one part system.
