nice idea makes a lot a sense but cant clarify if it will take 2500 x1250 sheets which are quite common now.

Came across this on Linkedin the other day, what a genius idea!!
A 10 x 5ft version would be ideal.

not the end of the world, but the problem is that it is on the roof.
10ft x 5ft sheets would be even trickier!
Regardless, still a good add on to have and frees up space in the back of the van. -
Was talked about here in May last year it’s like being at home, nobody listens. A versatile vehicle for sign company

I’ve been considering getting another van, even though I’ve made a system to out 8×4 securely in the truck, been thinking of a smaller van (Vito/custom size) and this might just be the deciding factor!!

Excellent idea. My van is quite small so I rely on the roof rack sometimes to transport 8×4 sheets but it needs to be carefully tied down and is open to the elements. Also I can’t carry a ladder at the same time. This solution seems ideal for anyone with a smallish van that needs to transport large sheet materials along with all their tools.

Thinking about buying one of these, is anyone using one and would they recommend it?
Thanks

i still think these are a great add-on as it will free up space. but i imagine the wind-drag will cost you long term. we have had some bulky roofracks in the past and it is a noticable drive with and without. the wind drag definately adds to the fuel costs.
That said, Rhino roofracks do offer a nice range. i was looking at them just recently.
