The only product I would say was equivalent to Avery Supreme is 3m’s 1080.

Whilst the likes of Hexis have air escape cast vinyl, the adhesive system isn’t prepositional like Avery & 3M’s. Hence the price difference.

KPMF is not an equivalent vinyl, it has a permanent acrylic adhesive & has an instant grab, technique for fitting is very different to something like Avery supreme which is repositionable & fitting times are generally much longer 😆

Any cost saving on materials will be eaten into by increased fitting times.

Prices for Avery media have crept up considerably over the past 12 months. But thats across the board, all distributors have had their prices increased by Avery, which in turn, is passed onto us. So i doubt you will see any of them selling considerably cheaper.

If you are just looking for an air release adhesive system then most wrap films come with this option these days. However, Avery has their own unique air release system, as does 3M and now Arlon.
Air release is one thing, but the film itself plays a big part. so simply moving to another air release system will make bubble free application possible, but how it handles and performs in different environments can change drastically.

Simply switching to a new film because its priced a bit high, may cost you in installation time being increased as well as higher fail rates incurring, as well as less of a colour and finish choice… just some things to consider.
