Avery Graphics Releases New Easy Apply RS Calendered Film
New Easy Apply RS™ Technology Featured in MPI Calendered Film(Painesville, OH) August 1, 2007 – Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Division announced the release of MPI 2003 EZ RS, a new calendered digitally printable film featuring Easy Apply RS™ technology. The new calendered film features Avery Dennison’s patent-pending Easy Apply RS™ technology which adds repositionability and slideability to the premium digital film. “MPI 2003 EZ RS is ideal for outdoor signage and short-term vehicle and fleet applications,” said Lance Hutt, Global Digital Products Manager at Avery Graphics.

All Avery Graphics MPI products are printable with solvent, eco-solvent and UV-curable digital inks. MPI 2003 EZ RS is available in 48”, 54” 60” wide rolls.

New Easy Apply RS™ Technology Featured in Colored Wrapping Films(Painesville, OH) August 1, 2007 – Avery Dennison Graphics & Reflective Products Division announced the release of new Easy Apply RS Wrapping Films. The new wrapping films feature Avery Dennison’s patent-pending Easy Apply RS™ technology which adds repositionability and slideability to the opaque, solid-color cast films. “The Easy Apply RS Wrapping Films come in six colors and are great for vehicle and fleet wraps with large areas of solid color,” said Lance Hutt, Global Digital Products Manager at Avery Graphics. “These films are high quality cast vinyl films with a gloss face that will save shops printing costs and time.”

I spoke to my Spandex rep about this, here is there reply:-
The equivalent product in the UK at present is the MPI2005 Easy Apply RS Material, Avery have confirmed that the European version is the above.
Currently the Easy Apply Technology is available on 1004 and 2004 products however Avery had developed this further to offer the RS Versions which would exhibit enhanced properties of both Repositionability and Slideability.
Spandex are able to get the RS versions, as yet there is no offering of the RS version on Core Vinyls but this may happen in the future.

Molly (the one in the green shirt obviously lol) came out to our facility to do our ICS Warranty survey and I cannot even begin to tell you the amount of knowledge that lady has regarding our industry — amazing. The EZ RS product is quite impressive.
