What constitutes a deal then? surely any saving making the item cheaper than the original price is a deal. yes its me who’s selling the item which is an original brand new disc, why am i selling because i have two of the discs both originals (long story as to why) cost to me originally from a well known supllier and not the publishing one either £30.50 plus some extortionate Postage taking the total to just over £40.00 yes i was ripped off with the postage but required the CD for the job.

I also agree auctions are about deals, i sell and buy on ebay when i am selling i hope i get the best price possible when i am buying i have a price that i want to pay up to and then i stop if others bid past me then they obviously have a different perspective on what a deal is the same as me and you have.

I buy my software new and dont sell copies of it if i am selling a genuine disc then yes i am hoping to recoup my money. Try and get one of the suppliers of this disc to give you a £1 off it let alone what ever the difference is at the moment and see how you get on.

Sellers enter an auction to get the best price they can from multiple buyers, buyers enter an auction to get what they consider a good deal. No one forces a seller to sell at a lower price than they want and no one forces a buyer to buy.

You bugger simon (:) i was the high bidder on that auction. but i bid upto what i though was a good price to pay second hand having looked at what it costs for postage as well. Also your never too sure it’s in full working order and theres no scratches on it that stops you using some parts
