  • artwork approval from fleet hire company or there client

    Hello

A fleet hire company asked me for a quote for 2 vans for 1 of there customers.

Worth mentioning at this point the fleet company are form Hertfordshire and i’m in Glasgow.

The fleet hire company like the quote and then there customer took over sending me artwork direct until the were satisfied with the end design.

Now the fleet company are saying go ahead but I’m a bit hesitant because its there customer that has approved the artwork with me but its the fleet company that will be paying me.

Should I have the fleet company approve the artwork and should I ask them for a purchase order does any one think?

    Jim

When you say fleet company, are you meaning a finance/leasing company?

They’re paying for it, but the decision regarding design is the clients, and they won’t careless.

Ask for PO number, don’t do anything until it arrives

    Reading between the lines..

I would at least show the fleet company the artwork, then send a pro-forma and get the money up front.

If you have worked for them before and they seem ok get a PO number, but would probably still get confirmation the artwork is good to go….just in case 😉
