Trying to print the above from customers jpeg
It’s of a new housing scheme and all of the grey(roof slates etc)
are coming out a definite green compared to grey!!
Have done everything i can think of,RGB/CYMK different file types
Cleaned nozzles and the like they are okay
The one thing i haven’t changed is the vinyl, would that make a mile of a difference?Just using a cheapo short term one for this job.

    All help gratefully received

i dint know how to overcome this except go in to PS and set the grey balance if it still prints with a green tinge then the profile is wrong.
as you pass the curser over the image in PS look for the rgb colour numbers top right as you go over a grey area they should be equal values.

    quick guide only

    Hi Fred

As Andrew suggest your profile is probably wrong as this does effect colour and print quality. Do you have a profile for your cheapo vinyl?

    Cheers. Nick.

    Cheers for the pointers guys.
Being new to the wide format stuff it’s a school day every day
Didn’t have a profile for the cheapo vinyl, what a difference with another one!
the one plus is that any wasted vinyl will end up as painting stencils for a local shotblasting firm 😀

    Thanks
