I’m completely baffled and starting to panic!

I was printing all day on my set up:
    Epson D120
    Artainium Ink
    Tru Pix sub paper
    Photoshop CS2 with Artainium profile.

Everything was fine as normal, came back from the post office after posting the day’s work, started printing again and all the transfers and subsequent prints onto the mugs are very dark.

The only thing that changed was that I topped up the bulk system with fresh newly opened Artainium Ink earlier in the day.

The profile appears to be still installed, have I been sold out of date ink??

My nozzle check is perfect, all 4 colours are ok.

What would cause my prints to come out very dark?

is an old test print the same as your new test print?

i mean is the ink magenta darker?

I’ve printed a series of full colour designs and the new prints are darker than before on the sub paper.

I assume that if I’m getting a good nozzle check there can’t be anything wrong with the ink?

Perhaps it’s a profile problem? I tried re-installing the profile with no change.

    Update:
Just printed a pure yellow design…it looks good.

Printed a design with aqua blue and green…too dark.

Is magenta a culprit for dark prints?
