• Are these real?

    interesting topic………..

I personally think these are too good to be true. No seams down the curtains (if they are curtains) or no pop rivets down or across the ally panels (if they are box trailers)
In other words to good to be true?

Those are great, it’s a pity we don’t get to be as creative in real life.
Many years ago when Contravision first came out I dabbled with a single decker bus for a local radio station that had a radio breaking through the roof and I had to follow the radio through on the windows, the photo looked great but only if viewed as a slab side, any other angle just didn’t work. The company gave me a nice mounted photo of it which I still have in my workshop.

i saw an artic yesterday with the back doors done to look like they weren’t there, and giving the perception of a long empty trailer when viewed from behind, was cool !

Spent the best part of the day driving to Leicester and back counting Fowler Welch Cooltrain & Nigel Bomford artics and how much money could be made getting the contract to do their containers.

On the way back they all decided to try and overtake each other on the M11 so I rarely got above 50mph.

Could have done with some creative looking vehicles like those above to keep me from going insane.

Hey Nik, here’s a similar van rework from a few hours north of us.

Hey John, they are great concepts for sure. I think they were on worth1000.com originally.

I had a customer send me these and ask if I could reproduce something similar on his trailer. I asked him what was his budget. He was thinking in the low 500’s, I suggested closer to the high 4000’s…. have not heard from him since…. 😀

Tim Knight got 2nd prize for this at the recent sign awards. The winner must have been pretty good to beat him 😉
