Can anyone help me with an outline of an Arab horse. I need it standing still with its head up, it’s got to look typically Arab, any old horse outline wont do. Im dealing with Arab horse riders and they are extremely fussy! 😮
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Jem,

    check out http://www.arabhorse.com

It’s a large site packed full of links. There are hundreds of pictures of very fine Arab horses. You may find an outline somewhere there, or alternatively, a good picture that Andrew from vectorwise could work on for you.

    Hope that helps

    Cheers,
    Cheryl

Would someone care to enlighten me as to the difference between an Arab ‘orse and any other type of ‘orse then 😕

Do they have bigger ears or sumfink 😳

    Phil,
the difference is obvious, arab horses wear a table cloth and fan belt on there heads.

I get it…Arab Horses have humps and are more commonly known as camels. 😀

(Don’t they say a camel is actually a horse designed by a commitee)

D’ya really wanna know cos I could go on for ages…………….. 😮
Dished head profile, ears that turn inwards, big eyes, fine boned, a couple less veterbrae than other horses, denser bone structure, mad as hatters,
All Thoroughbreds descended from Arabs, I could go on……….. 😮
Im doing a sign for the Arab Horse Society and they are sooooooo fussy!

I used to own an arab horse. Arabs are a “hot blood” breed, they are fantastic at endurance and also have very good bone structure, they are North African in descent.

A lot of horses in the UK are “warm bloods” , ie part arab part native breed.

They also tend to be expensive!!

Brilliant endurance, friend of mine competes at advanced level, over 75k in one go I think!
