  • App tape with backing or supply app tape for customer

    Hey guys,

I have a requirement where I need to supply cut vinyl to customers. But the catch is they weed out what they want themselves. They have to apply app tape themselves. Were taking about small items here say 30cm square.

Can you get app tape with a backing? if not whats the best way to supply it.

It’s a Saturday here so I can’t ask my supplier and figured someone would tell me either way here.

Just sell them a roll of tape / a half used roll.

I normally stop using my app. tape when it gets down to the last 5m or so (gets hard to unroll) – so keep all of the part rolls – had quite a stock going. Any customers want them for bit of self weeding & taping (normally students)…I just give ’em away.

    Hey guys,

Giving them a roll won’t work. They are selling these and have to give them onto their customers. I will try applying it to backing paper. I have rolls of it from laminating that I’ve kept. Hopefully it stays stuck.

try making it a bit bigger than the backing and fold it round if you have problems with it sticking.

    Nick.
