  • Anyone using a Cadet with Flexisign 7.6

I’m trying to choose between a Cadet & Versacamm. The Cadet seems to have the advantage of using different inks but from what I’ve picked up by searching through the forum, the Roland seems to be more reliable?

Anyway, to the point. The quote I have for a Cadet with Troop V5, installation, 2 days training and warranty (some vinyl and inks too if they want to make a sale 😛 ) is £8500 + vat. I was wondering if the Flexi Rip was good enough, could I save a few quid by using it instead of Troop?

I know a few say the Flexi Rip is no good but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone with 7.6 give their opinion.

    Many thanks
    Kenny

profiles can become a sticking point, as suppliers tend to automatically make profiles for the standard RIP that comes with the machine. I have had this problem running my Rocky 38 with Flexi.

Having read some info on the web, I get the impression that Troop will come with it whether you want it or not so I suppose there is no money to be saved. Can UKSG members get discount on Cadets from anyone?

    7.5 v5 supports the cadet 7.6 doesn’t
I don’t think you can use the 7.5 profiles in 7.6 eithe
