Hi Jason, I’ve upgraded both iMac and MacBook and I’m liking Lion.
Illustrator CS2 doesn’t work anymore as its PowerPC based and as you said Apple have discontinued Rosetta in Lion.
FlexiSign 8.5 works fine and I’d say both macs run a little faster too.
I like the new additions, Launchpad and Mission Control. Also the ‘Reading List’ option in Safari is great.
Overall I think it’s a positive upgrade.PS, taking a little while to get used to opposite scrolling but if you think about it the change makes sense.

My worry is CS3 as we run this on a number of machines.

From what I’ve read CS3 runs but has a few issues.
CS4 is OK.
CS5 is OK.

Thanks Neil, I’ll upgrade onto a ‘quiet’ machine.

I’m holding back until the update for cutting master 2 is released, that’s not working on Lion, everything else seemed to work perfectly for me.

Apparently Microsoft Office 2008 for Mac doesn’t run either which is why I haven’t upgraded yet 😥
All looks good though so can’t wait for them to hopefully fix that.
You can change the opposite scrolling back to "normal" if you want.

Iam also hanging on after reading a couple of issues. Waiting for the fixes then will install

That’s interesting as I read many reviews saying it didn’t work. I’ll have to look closer and ,maybe take the chance, maybe on the macbook pro first just to make sure.
Thanks for letting me know.
cheers

I am holding off…
There’s nothing amazing that Lion does that Snow Leopard doesn’t, and no features that really want to make me upgrade.
It seems to be a whole lot of looking pretty, but nothing that’s going to make whole lot of difference to my daily working.
Reading the reviews on the App Store, there’s a lot of unhappy customers, who’ve had some issues with software.

Depends if you use mobileme, this can only be used by Lion users in the future, as far as I am aware.
