Freeboarding, bit like snowboarding but on wheels with a castor behind the trucks
    easier explained at http://www.freebord.com
Its like snowboarding on tarmac, or in my case snowboarding all the way to the hospital the hospital.
Ill still be working just not at height, wont stop me fitting but will stop me climbing ladders, got a job soon in a hairdressers in Plymouth with windows about 7 feet high so have to get some sort of scaffold but Ill be ok.
with the leg in a full cast all the way up theres no bending so a little tricky but not impossible just annoyed that I cant use my boat this summer.
Ah well not to worry just have to get on with all my new t shirt designs for the new shop.
No point in worrying about it eh?

    Bad luck Steve.

My mum snapped hers on a stepper machine at the gym years ago, she was in full plaster for 3 days then had surgery, scar from heel to just below back of knee, short plaster after that, then physio for quite a while.

It took quite a long time to get sorted.

Put your feet up and make t-shirts or you’ll be out of action for longer

Got 3 jobs on but all low fitting except the hairdresser , I can sit while doing basically or stand but not bend my leg, one thing I wont do is risk my leg and future mobility so don’t worry I wont take any risk.
oh yea and a dibond sign above a hotel reception but my mate who i was skating with is an engineer and more than capable of fitting it for me so I’m pretty much sorted.
but rest assured there’s more designing than physical stuff for the next 3 months.

LOl thanks Chris, i dont think ill stick the leg in the press, its a bit thicker than dibond.
I may however need a fitter shortly I pay £0.50 per hour sometimes as much as £1 with experience.
    applications to the usual address

on a serious note I may ring you or Peter if I get stuck maybe one of you could help out for a tidy sum.
wouldn’t be more than a couple of hours I guess.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune Steve but if you will take part in these sorts of sports then I suppose injuries is just something you have to live with.
You can probably apply vinyl to a cast so you have a good opportunity to advertise :lol1:

Just remember not to enter any a*se kicking contests over the next couple of months as you will be absolutely hopeless at it!!!!!!!

Steve, you could do a full wrap, give you a chance to practice your wrapping skills, just remember not to use a heat gun or if you do turn it off if you smell burning flesh :lol1:

LOL i already smelled burning flesh tonight my missus hit my finger with a electric fly zapper, that hurt more than my heel.
and my wrapping skills definitely need a touch of improvement……….. I never did one yet. 😳

LOL that sounds like my luck, in fact it could have snapped anywhere at anytime and it so happens I WAS 15 foot up a ladder yesterday with cars and a horse bus passing every 2 minutes and delivery vans etc, removing
a "free parking" sign from a b&b sign that was on the side of the cafe, if it had gone up there I would have fell 15 feet onto a road.
Getting run over would have upset me a bit more than snapping it skateboarding lol so Im not gonna complian just have a few more anaesthetics in the form of carlsberg,
(only weak stuff stella dont work with crutches)

Last time I had luck like this I got stabbed a week before I went snowboarding, (now THAT hurt) but I still went

Stella will be fine with crutches, think about it. If you can manage OK on two legs when you have been drinking the stuff just think how much safer you must be on four :lol1:

Steve, I have been known to use crutches in the past so if you want any tips or lessons just let me know :lol1:

    LMAO
    :lol1:

I WOULD have believed that but I have bad experiences riding a bike home and in the same vein only 2 items are on the floor at once therefore like a bike reducing the balance greatly, im not chancing it. I fell off a bike after the pub a few times a few weeks ago
