    Hi guys,

I have been thinking for a while about using third party inks for my versacamm sp300v. I was wondering if anybody out there has any experience on using third party products. there are 2 ink manufactureres which i have in mind and they are sam inks and itl.

itl have produced a new ink called evo sol (details below) and say you dont need to flush your system and can be mixed with eco sol max.

sam inks are very cheap and claim to buy there inks from the same company as where roland have there’s manufactured. a company called toyo or toya (i think). in japan.

also is the bulk inks system any good?? as these work out really cheap and all you got to do is refill the cartridges and it works out pretty economical.

    please advise.

    thank you.

I tried the BIOmg ones in our sp540v machine but they stunk like true solvent would so they came out and our originals went back in. I just dont think the small cost saving is worth me continually wondering if they will damage our machine.

Just my opinion, I’m sure others will tell you the third party ones are great.
