(splat) I noticed in the first piece that at 2.32 seconds you played an E# instead of an E. And in the second piece, at 1.31 and again at 1.42 you played a Bb instead of a B :baby:

Woweee! Not just a pretty face then.

There you go Ade, if it all gets too much in the sign trade, you can make a living busking in Queen St.

I can play the block if that’s any use. I can get all of the first couple of seconds spot on from the ‘cricket’ theme from Booker T and the MGs.

    Nice work Ade.

Yeah, I’ve been playing a while, in and out of bands. I’m a big fan of Tom Morello’s work, and Matt Bellamy from Muse. Therefore I’m well into my FX, here’s some of my toys.

I also play accordion, anyone else?

I’ve been playing a long time also (not saying I’m any good though). I have a Ukulele (Oscar Schmidt concert size), two Harmonicas (one is a Hohner my dad brought back from Germany, the other is an el cheapo one), 1 Jasmine by Takamine acoustic, an Epiphone Wildcat semi-acoustic (red) & a Fender J-Bass (black). I did own a banjo at one point (ok ok here come the jokes, boy from Georgia plays banjo). I also have a Line6 Pod 2.0 for my digital effects and use GarageBand on my Mac.

Thanks John, Here’s just a very quick sketch I did about 8 months ago trying to learn GarageBand. Unfortunately I didn’t have a live drummer so I had to use canned beats. Hopefully I’ll have more time to work on some stuff after I get married next week and sell my house soon. Cheers!

    Hi Ade,

There’s 2 in there mate, one’s a Boss Tremolo/Pan which was discontinued quite a while ago because it’s noisy, the other is one of these http://www.buildyourownclone.com/

Make them yourself, great fun, I also did the mighty mouse, vibrato and fuzz.

    Have fun.

Yeah, thanks Alistair. A friend of mine in high school got a book with diagrams that showed how to make stomp boxes using regular electronic components. He actually made a few that worked pretty well.

Here’s another site that’s really cool if your a guitar gear head. Some of the listings are older, but still cool to see different artists’ rigs.

I have recently stopped playing in bands. I have been in varous bands for over 20 years. Love the blues, but have played in Punk, Keyboard & drum machine and just middle of the road bands.

Can play good rhythm but no lead (unless it is blues)
