• Any start-up software

As we are just starting up and dont know if we will be a success (i know, negative thinking) but we dont want to rush in and pay £1200 for SignLab so does anyone know of an alternative that we can use just for now and we will get SignLab later on.

Hi, depends on what cutter you are using, most come with a basic driver/cutting programme like winplot (summa) for instance. Some also have a plugin for corel that automatically transfers your design to winplot or whichever programme you are using.

You cant get others for around the 300 mark but couldnt comment on any of them as i havent used them.

I used it with Corel to cut to the plotter, but now use a full version.

    try signwizard website

cocut pro cuts straight out of coreldraw
worked ok for me when starting out

    £299

also signcut download from there free for 30 days
    give it a go

may be better off going straight for signlab cause you
tend to get comfy with present software and find it difficult
to adjust later (that might just be me though!)

    good luck

I dont think I can post a link due to board rules 🙂 but if you search on google for Signgo you will find the site and you can download a 30 day trial. Don’t think what I thought that your software must have all the bells and whistles because I won’t be on my own saying you will not use them…..
