  • any colour but white?

Posted by George Elsmore on June 1, 2009 at 10:57 am

I have imported a file into coreldraw an eps to be exact. I would of preferred to bring in the text as text but for some reason it asks for gill sans but does not recognise the gill sans font i have installed on my computer? also if i want to change the colour of the font it will let me pick any colour but white 😮

    anyone got any clues to:
    1. get the file to be editable using my version of the font it is asking for.
    2. change the colour of the text to white

    Cheers

    George

Are you not prompted for another font? you should be able to point it to your version. In the past I have imported files any any font (Areal usually) and then selected text and changed it to a new font. Don’t be surprised if even it does come in as text that it comes in as chunks and not necessarily with correct line breaks. I use white as cmyk 0000 and that is selectable, use the object manager to find these objects and change colour.
