Another newbie from the magazine side . . .
Well . . . as Colin’s pitched in here, I thought I might as well stick my head up from under the parapet, too, and finally register so I can post on these boards.
I’m the editor of Signs, Screen & Digital Printer which, in a sense, tries to mean all things to all people. I started the title back in 1998 because I could see little point in increasing the dichotomy between processes and wanted to put together a magazine which covered all elements. We started as Screen & Digital Printer, and added Signs to the title in 2000 because of the numbers of sign-makers phoning me to ask about digital stuff. Prior to SSDP I was involved in other sign-related titles, as well as running the consultancy side of my business — and I’ve been around for the best part of 25 years in one guise or another.
The digital side is really my speciality these days, but no-one should try to kill off the other processes because they’re still very much alive and kicking.
Enough said . . .
Now I’ll read on . . .
