Another Hi from Downunder
Posted by Ian Stewart-Koster on November 1, 2003 at 4:44 am😮
Just a quick hi from a newbie to this site- I came across for a look after seeing Rob’s post about vinyl in Letterville.
Nice site- it’s always good to see others sharing ideas & advice.
Best wishes,
Ian
PS our website is very amateurish- put up by ourselves in a hurry a few months ago, but it works as a salesman & earns its keep. There’s a stack more I want to do & change when I get the time…!Ian Stewart-Koster replied 20 years, 6 months ago 6 Members · 8 Replies -

Hi Ian,
Welcome to the site. I’ve just had a look at your website, especially the Horse Drawn carriages…Beautiful stuff, and those scrolls…Very nice.Have you guys had a bit of rain this year? I know you’ve all done it tough for the past couple of years.
Jump on in. It’s fun here and very addictive.

Thanks for the compliments Lee!
Rain has been dreadfully sparse these last few years, and up till the end of Sept. we’d had minimal- everything was brown. We arranged for a friend to ‘farm-sit’ for us while we drove up to Cairns for the Letterheads event that Newton Signs was hosting, and came back to GREENERY! Wow, 3 inches had fallen while we were away. Still need more though- horses (clydesdales) are foaling, & cows have started calving (twins the other day too).
I can’t complain, it could be much worse…
Best wishes, -
Hi Ian welcome, did you meet John Jordan at the Letterhead meet, is the old fart still chasing anything in a skirt 😆 I met him at a UK meet a couple of years ago, great bloke 🙂
-
Yes, Steve, John Jordan was there- he’s been to most of the last few annual Aussie Letterheads meets that I’ve attended. He likes the tag “Aussie John”, but he spends so much time in USA it seems, that we call him “Yankee John”.
He’s good value & a great tradesman, well up on technology for his ‘age’ !
