    Ok it’s the start of the week everyone is busy I understand that but when I phoned early morning to Amari Wednesbury and was told trade counter will call back shortly and didn’t. I did not think anything of it so after couple hours I call again but in back of mind I have a job that needs doing ASAP and need stock to be with me tomorrow.
    I call again. Again I’m told sorry trade counter will call back. Ok I think will be a few minutes etc. Cut long story short 4 times!!!!!! Taken my number and nothing. I’m so pissed off. I thought these people where one of the best. Well they were years ago when I was in the field.
    Number one I feel like they don’t care about me as a customer
    Number Two it’s bloody rude
    Number three I have a job needing sorting ASAP
    Number four it’s rude
    Number five it’s rude

    You get the idea. I’m gutted to be treated this way today of all days when stock is needed ASAP. Sadly I just called rival company that will sort me out for part of my order this is Perspex from Tamworth area but they are new to me and they don’t supply all the stuff I need so I’ve used mdp supplies as well anyone know of these issues and offer me some quality contacts because I’m so disappointed in them it’s unreal wasted most of the day waiting on call backs etc

    I may add it’s hard starting up again. The only reason I am is because of my disabled son and to be able to work my life around him. My life is changing so massively and starting a new business is scary and hard. It’s annoys me rotten when your trying to swim and keep your head above the water in a situation I have to sort for the greater good and this company didn’t even care to call back. By the way I don’t do account I pay always right away. So can’t understand why the incompetence.

    I don’t use amari because of a problem I had with 2 sheets of foam for a job being a different shade of green. Never had a problem getting hold of them when I wanted to spend money with them though.

    take a step back and take a deep breath its not worth having a heart attack over, I can understand your frustration of it all especially as you say with what you have to cope with regards your son. I have found that it gets easier if you can get a rep down at least that way you have an alternative point of call. I try not to be in a situation of taking on jobs that are needed asap that i need to order material for because like we tell our customers whats urgent to them because its been left last minute does not mean it is to the supplier (if you get my drift)
    However by the second call to them i would have been asking for someone higher up the food chain. Hope you get it sorted and all the best with your son

    Kevin you are right. This job was booked in end of the week so I though to get to the client by Wednesday would have been reasonable. The order had to be placed on Monday today because it was too late at the end of last week. I am a very chilled person but I can tell you I like to think that respect and reputation in earned and can be easily lost. In my case in this instance it’s lost.

    I just found it unprofessional. At least call back when you say your going to 4 calls later and still nothing was too much for me.
    In a perfect world we would have everything in stock and ready in advance but starting out again I’m buying stock in as I need. I think my biggest problem was not the client situation but the unprofessional lack of response i received.
    I for one would big up Amari but I am also a man of principle and my mind has started to look elsewhere for suppliers.

    Even a call apologising is enough for me to forgive even with my old school mind of principle.
    Anyway I’m off going to jump off a bridge I’m so upset lol (hot)

    I use Righton, the foamex ain’t the cheapest but I only use ACM because at £31 a sheet inc cutting I think it just isn’t worth using Foamex.
