now thats very smart… looks printed mate, you must be a dab-hand at that airbrushing 😉 keep them coming.. you know we luv’em! 😛

with regards to the ink. i too use ink on vinyl and banner materials..
when spraying vinyl what do you do to achieve a gloss finish. i get a silk sort finish but stands out against the high gloss vinyl.. i always cover the spray & vinyl in a clear vinyl before cutting. so its not a problem for me. i just thought ide ask/be nosey 😉 if you do simular or just leave the finish as it is? 🙄

    Rob
I dont clear coat all I airbrush -its dependant on the amount of airbrushed effects and how it dries on the vinyl, also where its going to be applied on the vehicle

If all goes just right then usually it blends in and looks like the rest of the vinyl
For this particular job I clearcoated with 1 shot clear ,cause the bulk of it is sprayed and the drivers are not the most considerate when it comes to maintaining them

So how do you put a clear layer over before cutting ?

I’ll go along with Bob and Eddie, I would love to be able to do work like this as I know other sign companys locally dont do anything like this. Anything that is going to help us be better than the local competition, would it be possible for you to put together a demo Terry, as has already been said I think a lot of people on the site would be interested.

    😮
    Very nice Terry,
I do the odd airbrush fade with createx auto air but…
    DEMO…DEMO……DEMO PLEASE 😀
This type of work is what we should all be learning to do – it puts an element of the craft back into the business.
    Excellent.
    Cheers

The Letterheads step by step page is brilliant, not that I do all of these things but I saved and printed the whole lot and put it in a folder, great for reference and ideas, also check out this one as well :-
