I have been asked to provide some header boards for display units for a local car electronics firm, they wanted me to do one for the VDO Dayton stand (expensive car audio company) but the couldn’t supply me with a decent file to get a digi print from (only 72 dpi) so as the logo needed to be 30 inch wide I decided to airbrush it. Vinyl colors used are black, white, silver and yellow and it took me about 15 minutes to produce.

    Nice one Steve.

Don’t you just love the difference a bit of airbrushing makes?

One thing though; are you sure your clock’s working alright (?)
I look at some of the work you’ve produced in minutes and there I am calculating, three-quarter of an hour for this + half hour for that +………+……..

    I know I don’t rush about a great deal but am I really that slow (?) 🙁 😆 😆

Alan, well only 15 mins for the airbrushing, theres only one and its only done with a bit black & white paint oh and a bit of orange frog juice on the round bit, and 10 mins to cut the vinyl and 5 mins putting it together. 🙂

Cheers Chalkie thats where I got it from as the company themselves were about as much use as a chocolate teapot “Vectored image? whats that?” and this from their marketing manager, t*ss*r 😆

    Steve,

Can you show us how you do this?? I’m still confused with this airbrushing malarky!
