  • Aerosol spray cans, how are you painting your flat cut letters in house

    Good day folks,

I’m fed up subcontracting this work…
Nobody does it as well as I do personally spray paint flat cut letters.

Aerosol spray cans, how are you painting your flat cut letters in-house?

I will explain how I do it and then you can correct me:

    1) I sand the face of the letters with 800 automotive sandpaper

    2) plastic primer

    3) final coat

My main problem is paint flying around the garage and paint on the walls and floors.

    Any paint booth recommendations?

if you have the space, put one of these up in the corner for all your sp[ray painting. you will also need a small extraction fan leading out to an external wall.

    £70 and easy to erect.
    or
build one from 2×2 wood batons and staple polythene over it.

    Thanks Robert!

My spraying booth will be like this exactly. This will work for me.

With the amount of money I’m being paid to do high spec jobs, I will fly in chilly direct from Mexico. 😉
